I would agree somehow in the fact that this morning, I was listening to Pocket SYmphony... and just told myself... waw, that s great sound, so nice arrangements, but a bit boring. 10000Hz was a shock, i was listening to it in loops 2-3 times a day...But there are some songs in Love 2 that make it, if not a masterpiece, a great piece.... You can tell it to everybody, Tropical Disease, Heaven s Light, Love and African Velvet are, after 1 month of listening, the best songs for me.

Has anyone else had problems accessing the hidden content on aircheology using OpenDisc? It prompts me to load my CD, which I do, but nothing ever happens. I'm assuming that's how you access the three bonus songs? Ugh. Very frustrating.

I wish I could help, but I bought the lot on iTunes. Maybe it's because I'm an old man, but I have little interest in buying CDs or even owning the artwork and vinyl from bands anymore :(

I'm running hot and cold about this album to be honest. My favourite tracks are Love (it just sums up Air's career so well in less than 3 minutes), Missing the light of the day and Heaven's Light. Sorry but Tropical disease doesn't do it for me. I wish JB played the piano in a more sober way (not even talking about the live version which is going nowhere).
Then I think half of the tracks on this album are fillers (i.e. Eat my beat, African Velvet,...) mainly because the record company might have put too much pressure on them to release a new album before 2010.
The more I listen to Love 2, the more I go back to Pocket Symphony.
But generally speaking I still like Love 2 (not my favourite album, of course) and I shouldn't moan so much when Air release a new album.

Have you noticed a new toy on the official website?

Today I received a newsletter including an info:

Check out the new game inside the AIR widget!
See if you can guess which musical samples
match the songs on "Love 2" : Play here

If you go to the official site a window opens:

That's the game: there are some pictures of instruments, when you move your mouse on it, you hear a musical sample and the challange is to match sounds with tracks from Love 2. Each time the instruments are different. I'm playing like a child  I have to liesten to the album once again and beat a high score

And I can see they used some ethnic instruments on Love 2:
